COMPETITION RULES:

Terms and Conditions for “Yeomen of the Guard Ticket Giveaway”

  1. Eligibility
  • This competition is open to all residents of South Africa who are 18 years or older at the time of entry.
  • Employees, affiliates, and immediate family members of Young Hearts Africa and associated partners, including but not limited to the Cape Town G & S Society and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, are not eligible to participate.
  1. How to Enter
  • Participants must answer the competition question correctly: “Which famous city does ‘The Yeomen of the Guard’ take place in?”
  • Complete the entry form by providing your first name, surname, mobile number, email address, and confirm that you are over 18 years of age.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
  1. Competition Period
  • The competition opens on 8 August 2024 and closes at 11:59 PM 10 August 2024. No entries received after the closing date will be considered.
  1. Prize
  • The prize consists of TWO tickets to attend ‘The Yeomen of the Guard’ performance by the Cape Town G & S Society.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternatives.
  1. Winner Selection and Notification
  • The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
  • The draw will take place on 10 August 2024, and the winner will be notified via mobile phone or email within 24 hours of the draw.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, Young hEarts Africa reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a replacement winner.
  1. Publicity
  • By entering the competition, the winner agrees to the use of their name, likeness, and entry details for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  1. Privacy
  • Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the competition and contacting the winner. It will not be shared with third parties without the entrant’s prior consent.
  1. General Conditions
  • Young Hearts Africa reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition in the event of any technical failure, unauthorized intervention, or any other cause beyond their control.
  • By participating in this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of Young Hearts Africa, which are final and binding in all matters related to this competition.
  1. Governing Law
  • This competition is governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
