However, relatively few honour what one person or organisation has achieved for others. Though they are few and far between, these celebrations do exist—like the African Conservation Awards and the Conscious Companies Awards—and matter because they remind us that success concerned with the benefit of others is just as applause-worthy as those traditional trophies on the mantelpiece.
